My best friend and I

I have a best friend. Her name is Linda. We are similar in some ways and different in others. Both of us have black eyes and black hair. Linda is taller than me and she is quieter, but I am more outgoing.

We often go to school together because her home is near mine. We like to read books and play games together. Linda is very serious and she always does her homework carefully. I am more fun-loving and I like to make jokes.

One day, when it was my birthday, Linda gave me a beautiful gift. I was very moved. She is a kind and helpful friend. I think our friendship will last forever.
